Seven Fun Facts To Celebrate Mile Wide Beer Co.'s 7th Anniversary

Mile Wide Beer Company's 7th anniversary is this weekend! To help celebrate, here are seven fun facts about the Phoenix Hill brewery: 

1. Bob Dylan once played a concert in the parking lot (in 2003, before they were open).
2. The building was originally part of a Pillsbury factory, where biscuits transitioned from grain in the silos to finished frozen biscuits.
3. You might already know that Mile Wide is named for the largest width of the Ohio River. Co-owner Matt Landon’s background also happens to be in building bridges.
4. Their building once housed The Silo, Louisville’s very first brewery in “the modern era" (1992).
5. In 2017, Mile Wide established itself as a pioneer of Hazy IPA with the release of Tessie, one the highest rated beers to date. 
6. Co-Owners Scott and Kyle both hail from previous adventures at Schlafly Brewing.
7. Their weekly trivia (every Thursday) is hosted by Jeopardy-winner Evan Roberts.
